Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil loses a backer

The Malaysian state of Sabah in the north of the island of Borneo has set a target for all crude palm oil produced in Sabah to be certified as sustainable according to the standards of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) standards by 2025 and launched a 10-year implementation programme, one of the first jurisdictional commitments to sustainable palm oil production in the world.
